Hi lovely, and welcome back to the Kirsty Olivia Self Care Blog!


If you’re anything like me — juggling life, kids, and a never-ending to-do list — then you know how easy it is to put yourself last. As a mum of 4, trust me, I’ve been there. It’s so easy to pour into everyone else and leave your own cup completely empty.

But self-care doesn’t have to mean a full spa day (though we love those too!). Sometimes, just five minutes is enough to recentre, reset, and remind yourself that you matter too.

Here are some of my favourite 5-minute self-care rituals you can do anytime, anywhere:


1. Take 3 Deep Breaths Pause. Breathe in through your nose, hold for four seconds, then slowly breathe out. Do this three times. It's amazing how something so simple can calm your mind and body.


2. Write Down 3 Things You're Grateful For Grab a notebook, or just use the notes on your phone. Focusing on the good — no matter how small — shifts your mindset and lifts your mood.


3. Pop on a Podcast or Song You Love Whether it’s a quick mum-life podcast or that song that makes you want to dance in the kitchen, music is powerful. Let loose, even for a minute. Dance like no one's watching (because they probably aren’t — and if they are, get them to join in!).
